More to come...

If you can't tell, I am behind, I am working on catching up! I am currently writing my Ironman story. It should be up soon...

Bridger turned 4!!!!!

Our sweet BridgeMan turned 4 in November!! This boy is such a loving, energetic, kindhearted,
fun ball of cuddly hugs! I am so grateful to have him in our family. He is the only boy (beside Rich) and sometimes I worry that he is not getting enough rough "boy time" but let me tell you, nothing can stop Bridger from being "boyish" He was born that way, he loves guns and tractors and animals (especially mountain lions for some reason) he is attending Newcastle School and has made some great friends and loves his teacher Ms. Lisa. He loves to sing. He is so soft and gentle with Brinlee and I just don't know what I would do with out him in my life!!!

For Bridger's birthday, we went to a place called Incredible Pizza and had SO much fun. It has an all you can eat buffet and so everyone went and got food, then we ate cake and opened presents. After that, everyone recieved a card with credits on it to play games in the arcade and everyone just went into the arcade and played and played! It was a fun day!!

Brinlee's Birthday SHE'S 1

Although Brinlee is now 18 months as I write this, it feels like yesterday that she turned one! Brinlee has the sweetest spirit! I have felt it from even before she was born! She notices when others are sad and she tries to make them feel better by giving loves or just my looking at them with concern. She also is SPUNKY!!! She has SO much personality and is always wanting to be fart of the action. She is always aware if her big brother and sister are getting something that she isn't and that does NOT make her happy! She is is gentle but SO strong! Just in the last few moths she has started saying a few words:
"juice"= sippy
"house"= flower
"baba"=bottle
"mama"
"dada"
"be ee"= Bailey
(she tries to say Bridger but in is a work in progress)
"beebee"= blankie and baby (depends on what she pointing at)
"nak"=snack
"bite"= I'm hungry or I want a bite
"bahby"= Bathie (bath time)
"nite nite"

We LOVE you BRINNERS!!!!!!!

Catching UP!?!/ Thanksgiving at the Cabin!

It was a MAGICAL Thanksgiving weekend at the cabin in Deer Lake Washington! My Grandparent's have built this AMAZING cabin on the water and it was a cozy winter dream-come-true. There was a roaring fire and snow falling (pretty much the whole time) outside, the smell of food cooking and time with my family! It was such a wonderful trip I can't wait to get back to the cabin this summer!!!

Grammy and Brinlee getting cozy

This was the most coveted spot in the cabin, right in front of the fireplace!

Me and the BridgeMan

Rich and Brinners, look at that silly face she has. She is SUCH a character!

WOW

I didn't really know what to title this blog post. All I know is my heart is full tonight. Nothing really amazing, or exciting has happened, I am just full of gratitude. I have spent a lot of time as a single parent this month (Rich has been out of town filming/hunting). I approached this month with a little bit of dread because I knew I was going to spend the majority of it as a lone Mom. Even though it has been really tough juggling all 3 kids 24/7 by myself...I have really had fun (I still reserve the right to a spa day though :)!
I have learned a lot in the past few months about ATTITUDE. I have learned that our attitude dictates our outcome. As I have tried to have a more loving and patient attitude with my kids...guess what...I have a more meaningful and enjoyable experience with them. I am NOT by any stretch of the imagination saying that I am perfect! I am FAR from it. But, as I pray and strive to have a more loving mindset and attitude with my kids I can feel the spirit with me and things go more smoothly. I am so grateful for their creative little minds and the innocent way they view the world.

I love how every time Bailey sees an American flag she starts to sing "Your a Grand Old Flag".

I love how Bridger randomly comes up to me and grabs my face and says "I like you mommy!"

I love how Brinlee lets out a soft sigh every time she gives me "hugs"

I LOVE life and I love the gospel that brings so much light into the lives of ALL who embrace it!

Bailey the Kindergartner!

My not-so-little-anymore Bailey is a kindergartner! She was SO excited for school and yes...I let her pick out her outfit and her backpack so of course everything is PINK! She was SO ready for this, she has been in school now for a couple of weeks and is absolutely LOVING it! She is learning a lot and is making new friends. Bailey is so independent, she wanted me to stop walking her to her classroom door after 2 days. I asked her "Are you embarrassed of me?" she said "yeah mommy, I'm a big girl now!" I felt a little sad but as she walked away she was blowing kisses the whole time, she is not too cool yet but I'm sure the time will come. For now I am just enjoying my wide eyed, energetic 5 year old kindergartner!

There she goes....

Happy 10 years!!

Rich and I were married for 10 years on August 21st. My parent's were awesome enough to take our kids for 2 nights while we went to Park City. It was SUCH a nice break! We stayed at the Hotel Park City which I unfortunately didn't get any pictures of:( But it is beautiful!! We went and played on the Alpine Slides and the Roller Coaster, without our kids we turned into teenagers again, it was so fun!

Here's me on the way up on the roller coaster.
On the chair lift.
Rich on the Alpine Slide...he won our race by the way...not a surprise:)

Lunch was yummy Turkey Cranberry Tacos...mmm

Happy Anniversary to the love of my life! I can't wait for the next 10 years...
LOVE YOU!!
